Linda Sue Dillard, age 72, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2024 in her home in Woodburn, Kentucky. She was born on September 10, 1951 in Bowling Green to the late Lyndell Harris and Birtie Susan Jeanette. Linda worked for over 30 years at Riley’s Bakery as a cake decorator. In her spare time she was in a bowling league, she enjoyed sewing and she loved animals of all kinds. Along with her parents, she was also proceeded in death by her husband of 44 years, Donald M. Dillard; and a sister, Donna Crump.
Linda is survived by her two sons, Lyndell Maurice “Marty” Dillard and Lacy (Dawn) Dillard; a daughter, Glenda Rena Dillard; three sisters: Eunice (Michael) Kertis of Dallas, Texas; Laura (Jim) Brown of Chattanooga, Tennessee; and Deborah Jeanette of Bowling Green, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a host of nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
Funeral Services will be on Friday, May 10, 2024 at 11:00am at the J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Chapel on Broadway with burial in the Woodburn Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Thursday, May 9, 2024 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and again on Friday from 9:00am until the time of service.
