William “Bill” Jones, 91, of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away, May 06, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones. He was born January 2, 1933, in Barren County, Kentucky to the late Sam Jones and Hallie (Wisdom) Jones. Bill owned and operated Bill Jones Alignment for many years. Bill also worked as a service manager for several years at B.R. Carver Chevrolet Buick, where he was awarded many awards for his astounding work and knowledge. When Bill was not working, he was spending time with his family, setting up sound systems for various gospel groups, fishing, or simply enjoying being on the lake. Bill was the oldest and longest member of the Dover Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his sons, Danny Jones (Marilyn), Robbie Jones (Becky); grandchildren, Allison Hoggard (Randy), Cheri Paull (Jonathan), Lucas Jones, Justin Whitlow, A.J. Parsons (Michelle); five great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Willie Dean Jones; several nieces and nephews; his faithful dog, Pepper
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret (Thomas) Jones; two daughters, Donna Whitlow and Jackie Lynn Jones; two brothers, Wilber Jones and Wendell Jones; and four sisters, Aline Chambers, Nelda Moore, Jane Hunt, Rosemary Thomas.
The funeral service for Bill will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, May 9th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 8th from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Thursday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.
