Betty Ann Vierra Wright, age 94, passed away Saturday May 4, 2024 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky.
The Oakland, California native was the daughter of the late Charles Vierra and Louise Laemmle Vierra. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Marlyce Alvidrez, and one brother, Charles Vierra Jr.
Betty loved to spend time shopping, she loved anything that sparkled, and crafting with her sister, Yvonne. Most of all Betty loved her family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 73 years Billy E. Wright, two sons, Mitchell Wright (Lynda), and Martyn Wright (Doreen), three grandchildren, Brant Gibbons (Heather), David Alvidrez, and Gabriella Alvidrez, two great-grandchildren, Abigail, and Aiden Gibbons, one sister Yvonne Eldridge, one son-in-law, Tony Alvidrez, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday May 10, 2024 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at the J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel with Funeral Service beginning at 2:00 PM followed by burial in the Bowling Green Gardens.
