Mr. Edward Lee “Cookie” Ford, 80, of Horse Cave, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at U of L Jewish Hospital.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents Monroe and Rebecca Curry Ford; his wife Patsy Jean Thorton Ford; son Kenican Lynell “Wheels” Ford; two brothers Joe Ford Donald “Donnie Ford”.
He leaves to cherish his memories, Ten children, Nan Ford, Kelton “Simon” Ford (Katie), Kendell Ford, Kelly Ford (Raven), Nicole Ford, Melissa Bell (Vutnor), Veronica Rogers, Tiffany Whitney (Chris), Christopher Nuckols and Desmond Neal (Chelsea). seventeen Grandchildren, AJ Ford,Canetra Ford, Sierra Bradley, Kelton Ford, Ashlynn Ford, Walter Jones, Stephon Ford, Haven Ford, Kelbie Ford, Kaidence Dunagan, Logan Bell, Jordan Bell (Lauren) Aaliyah Dice, Joe Dice, Sincere Page, Jabari Sweat, Kaybree Neal and Karan Neal. Nineteen Great Grandchildren; sister in law Patsy Richardson; brother in law Allen Thorton (Anne); aunt Ann Wagner; special cousin Deloris Green; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Friendship Baptist Church with Dr. Micheal Rice and Rev KT Ford officiating. Burial will follow at Woodsonville Memorial Gardens.
Visitation be from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday, April 29, 2024 at Friendship Baptist Church.
