Jeanetta Sue Flener-Johnson, age 73 of Bowling Green, KY peacefully departed this life on Friday, April 12, 2024. The Butler County native was born on May 6, 1950 to the late Justus and Ruhie Flener.
Jeanetta was a 1968 graduate of Butler County High School, a graduate of The University of Kentucky and a retired teacher from the Bowling Green Technical College. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.
She leaves to honor her memory – her son, Scott Keown (Stephanie) of Bowling Green; two granddaughters, Sydney and Shelby Keown; two sisters, Ruby Carnes and Gracie Ellis; a brother, Duey Flener; two nieces, Linda and Lisa; a nephew, Derek Ellis (Marie).
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Pete Johnson and a brother, Huey Flener.
A celebration of life service will be set at a later date for family & close friends.
