Judy Lynn Overfelt age 53 of Smiths Grove, departed this life on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at her residence. The Edmonson County native was born on May 5, 1970 to the late Homer and Maxine Toms Tarter. She was married to Ronnie Lee Overfelt, until they were parted by his passing on June 7, 2015.
Judy was a 1988 graduate of Edmonson County High School, and worked as a certified nursing assistant. She attended Center Pointe Church.
She leaves to honor her memory, her daughters, Brandi Bowlds of Brownsville, Ashley Clark of Louisville, Katelyn Overfelt of Hopkinsville and Lauren Overfelt of Bowling Green; grandchildren, Miguel Clark, Chloe Bowlds, Riley Bowlds, Peyton Taylor, Jordan Overfelt, Jaleigh Walker, Jakiah Overfelt and Carson Clark, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by Gloria Jean Peger, Brenda Halvorson and Alice Temples.
Interment will be in the Lambert Cemetery.
