John W. Gibbons, 76 of Helenwood, Tennessee, formerly of Bowling Green, died April 8, 2024 at his home in Helenwood.
He was the son of the late Willie Gibbons and Ardooma “Doomie” Johnson Gibbons. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Kermit, Wilbur and Weldon Gibbons and one sister, Nita Gibbons Childress.
His survivors include his sister-in-law, Mildred Gibbons of Delaware; numerus nieces and nephews in Delaware and Kentucky; his care provider, Nicole Ferrier and family of Tennessee and his special friends, Shonda Casey and Jennifer Casey.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Honaker Cemetery under the direction of Hardy & Son Funeral Home.
