Gloria Pearl Hunt, 99, of Bowling Green passed peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, April 4, 2024.
Gloria was born in Queensland, Australia on March 4, 1925 to the late Cecil John Shelley and Clara Elizabeth Dun Shelley. She was preceded by her husband William H. Hunt and her son, Gary John Pace and two brothers, Loftus Dun and Keith Shelley. Gloria was of the Baptist Faith and a member of the Senior Citizens Bowling Club. She was a cafeteria cook at Bristow School for many years.
Leaving to cherish her memories are her daughter, Cherie Hunt Scott (John), three grandchildren, Jason Pace (Mandy), Summer Pace and Shelley Metz (Jim), three great grandchildren, Nathan Metz, Isiah Pace and Josie Pace, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 12 noon Thursday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
