Patty Lynn Decker, age 63, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (March 30, 2024) at her residence.
She was born on October 5, 1960 in Leitchfield, KY, the daughter of her late father, Justus Lee Hudson and her mother, Freda Lampton Hudson Nelson.
She worked as a scrub tech at the old Leitchfield War Memorial Hospital. Patty enjoyed singing with her daughter, Bethany, shopping, getting her nails done, and going to the beach. Her favorite colors were pink and teal. She loved flamingoes. She enjoyed spending time with her service dog, Karma Letty Starr. She married Jim Decker on November 28, 1980.
She is survived by her spouse, Jim Decker of Leitchfield; her daughter, Bethany Decker; and her mother, Freda Nelson; several caregivers, and special friend from New Zealand, John Waterman; and her service partner, Karma Letty Starr.
Other than her father, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jessica Decker, an infant son, Timothy Allen Decker, a granddaughter, Heaven Faith Decker, and one brother Justus Hudson, Jr.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. day, (April 04, 2024) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
