Carman Duane Atwell age 78 of Hardyville passed away Saturday, March 30th at her daughter’s home. She was a retired store manager at Log Cabin in Hardyville. Carman was a member of the Hardyville Union Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents Robert & Wilma Locke, four brothers Daryl Locke, Phillip Locke, Mitchell Locke and Melvin Locke.
She is survived by one daughter Angela Croghan & her husband Ricky of Hardyville; one son Thomas Darren Atwell & his wife Alisha of Hardyville; one sister Kathy Self & her husband Morris of Hardyville; seven grandchildren Colton Atwell(Katie), Brandon Croghan(Ally), Haleigh Meredith(Jerrett), Hannah Puckett, Laura Riggs(Thomas), Jordan Atwell and Jaden Atwell; four great-grandchildren Camden, Teigan & Taelyn Atwell and Chandler Meredith; a special friend Judy Napper.
The funeral service for Carman Duane Atwell will be held at 1pm Friday, April 5th in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with Bro. Ronald Riordan officiating. Burial will be in the Greens Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8pm Thursday and after 9am Friday at the Sego Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the Animal Rescue Kare of Hart County, P.O. Box 427, Munfordville, KY.
