Malcolm “Zeke” Renick, age 78, of Cave City, passed away Wednesday, March 27th, 2024, at Barren County Nursing and Rehab in Glasgow. He was a native of Barren County. Malcolm was a Masonry Instructor for the Job Corps and was a bricklayer by trade and took great pride in his work. He was a veteran of the United States Army, he was a family man who always enjoyed time spent with his family. Malcolm also loved being outdoors.
He is preceded in death by his parents Malcolm Everett Renick Sr. and Susie Ellen Simmons; one brother, Hershel Renick; sisters, Frances Dennison, Lou England, Mary Edith Renick, Imogene Wright, Virginia Morrow, Joyce Toney, and Maxine Graham; grandson, Cody Wilson; great-grandson, Demetrius Nuckols; son-in-law, Jerome Wilson.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Renick; his children, Susie Wilson (Allonzo Jamison), Edie Renick, Joyce Rice (Reecie), Fran Renick, Matthew Bunch, and Melissa Anderson; 16 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be held at Winn Funeral Home at 1 P.M on Saturday, March 30, 2024 with burial to follow in the Cave City Cemetery, military honors will be provided by DAV Chapter 20 of Glasgow. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 29, 2024 from
4:30 P.M. until 8 P.M. and after 8 A.M. Saturday until the time of the service.
