Ruby Mae Absher Buckner of Greensburg, daughter of the late Landar “AR” Absher and Louise Burton Absher, was born on Thursday, June 14, 1951 in Columbia, Kentucky and departed this life on Friday, February 16, 2024 in Bowling Green. She was 72 years, eight months, and two days of age.
Survived by a daughter and son-in-law: Mythia and Joseph Davis of Greensburg; two grandchildren: Jordan Buckner and Travis Buckner both of Greensburg; a brother: Barry Absher of Greensburg; two nieces: Alecia Absher and Tonia Matney both of Greensburg; two nephews: Doug Absher of Florida and Joey Absher of Greensburg; an adoptive daughter: Dawn Braden of Louisville; a special family friend: Ashley Larguero of Columbia; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: David Owen Absher and Otis Owen Absher.

The funeral services for Ruby Mae Absher Buckner will be conducted at 4 P.M., Central Time, Sunday, February 18, 2024 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Bro. Roger Robertson officiating.
Visitation is requested after 12:30 P.M., Sunday until time of the funeral service.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take form of donation to the Family Burial Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
