Mr. Mark Alan Sholes, of Albany Kentucky, passed away Friday, January 5, 2024, having attained the age of 64 years, 2 months, and 7 days. He was born in Kenitra, Morocco on Thursday, October 29, 1959, the son of David Alan and Irene Fostina (Latham) Sholes. He was of the Protestant faith and a veteran of the army infantry.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Sholes. He is survived by his children, Kevin Sholes, Eric Sholes, and Inga Sholes all of Germany, Olivia Sholes and Hannah Sholes both of Saint Petersburg, Florida, siblings, David Sholes of Michigan City, Indiana, Joe Sholes of Ocala, Florida, James Sholes, BethAnn Sholes, and Amanda Sholes all of Roberts, Missouri, and Lesley Sholes of Scotland, England, grandchildren, Ryan, Jolene, Madlene, Fabienne, Marc, and Finn, several nieces, nephews, many other relatives, and friends.
The funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. C.S.T. in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Wells officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at the funeral homes after 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour. Burial will be in Cartwright Cemetery in Albany, Kentucky.
