On October 25th, 2023, Myron Winfrey Goff went to be with the Lord our Savior. He passed away of natural causes peacefully in his sleep, just two weeks shy of his 96th birthday.

Myron was born to Frank and Mallie Goff in Burkesville, Kentucky, where he lived until moving to Bowling Green, Kentucky in 1957.

He and his wife Julia and their two sons lived with her parents while getting on their feet, until 1960, when they moved to California, to “become a millionaire”, as Myron claimed he would one day be! He did just that and then some, as the many investments, sales of land to several corporations, hard work and perseverance paid off for him, so much so that at one time, he was known as the largest land owner in Dallas!

In 1982, he purchased what his family, for so many years, called “the farm”, where he loved to raise several different types of animals, from ducks, chickens and guineas, to horses, Texas longhorns, Watusi cattle and even buffalo. He always loved going and doing, from morning until night, Myron was always busy.

Myron and Julia have made many friends all over the world during their 78 years of marriage, and he will be missed by so many.

He is survived by his wife Julia, sons Jim and Joe and their wives, Cindi and Beverly, four granddaughters, and five great grandchildren.

“We miss you, but look forward to seeing you again when it is our time to join you and our Lord in heaven. Thank you for always taking care of your family and teaching us all that you taught us”!
