Norma Jean Wilson, age 82, of Bowling Green, Kentucky died at 8:14 p.m. Friday, November 3, 2023 after a lengthy illness.
The Warren County native was a graduate of Bowling Green High School and Western Kentucky University with a Masters in Business Education. Norma taught shorthand and typing at Chandlers Chapel in Auburn. She was a member of the Rich Pond – Woodburn Homemakers and the Church of Christ. After 26 years of service, Norma retired from the Bowling Green Post Office. In her spare time she was an avid antique collector and dealer.
Norma was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Donald Potter Wilson, her brothers; James Keown, Raymond Keown, Paul Keown, and Donald Keown. Survivors include her children; Lesley Jean Wilson and Michael Brent Wilson, one brother; David Keown and his wife Linda, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2 until 4 p.m. Saturday, November 18, 2023 with a Celebration of Life conducted at 4 p.m. all at the J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel. A private burial will be held at a later date. Expressions of Sympathy may be made to the American Lung Association.
