Mrs. Evelyn Joyce (Thompson) Wommer, age 83, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Brookdale Stone Street Assisted Living in Louisville, Kentucky. Evelyn was born on October 6, 1940 in Tompkinsville, a daughter of the late Leonard Thompson and Ruby (Murphy) Thompson.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Graves of Louisville, Kentucky, and one grandson, James Graves of Washington.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Murphy, and one brother, James Thompson.
Graveside Services will be conducted at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Monroe County Memorial Lawn with interment to follow in the Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 19, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, Kentucky.
