BOWLING GREEN – A suspect has been charged in connection to the murder of a Bowling Green woman.
On Saturday, Bowling Green Police responded to a Winners Circle apartment for a welfare check on 22-year-old Alexandra Hemmann. When officers entered the apartment, they found Hemmann dead from an apparent homicide.
Officers identified David Anthony Proffitt II, 25, as the suspect. Early Saturday evening, Proffitt was located outside of Fishers, Indiana, and taken into custody without incident.
Proffitt is charged with Murder, and Theft by Unlawful Taking. He will be transported to the Warren County Jail in the coming days.
Police expect additional charges once they present the case to the Grand Jury.
