Three Allen County residents arrested and charged following a drug investigation on Monday

SCOTTSVILLE – On Monday, the Allen County-Scottsville Crime Task Force Detectives received a call from the Allen County Detention Center in reference to a male subject throwing items over the rooftop into the jail recreation area.

Through investigation it was determined that a male inmate(s) had set up a transaction of illegal contraband to be dropped off at the jail recreation area. Video evidence revealed a male subject exited a parked vehicle in the area of the Allen County Detention Center and walked to the jail. He then disposed of the contraband into the jail recreation roof area.

On Tuesday, Detectives located the vehicle and the male subject from the video at 336 Cedar Cross Church Rd, in Scottsville. Through investigation it was determined that Natalie N. Plumlee, 43, of Cedar Cross Church Rd paid the male subject to ride to the jail and dispose of the illegal contraband. A search warrant was obtained and served at Plumlee’s residence. Plumlee was charged with the following and lodged in the Allen County Detention Center.

  1. Promoting Contraband (1st Degree – Complicity)
  2. Engaging in Organized Crime
  3. Possession of Marijuana
  4. Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

The inmates involved were Joey W. Proctor, 43, of Bowling Green and Jadon S. Meredith, 22, of Scottsville. Both were charged with the following and remain in the Allen County Detention Center.
