Barbara Bushway, age 84, of Glasgow KY, passed away Sunday July 23th, 2023, at home surrounded by family. Barbara was born on September 29th, 1938 to the late Florcy T. Powell and the late Blache (Key) Powell. She retired from SKF, enjoyed working at EB Terry and working for Glasgow Little League. She loved all the kids, and they loved her. She was well known for her famous Mexican Hamburgers. She was a member of the Calvery Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Tracy (Tommy), Karen Boggs (Jeff) and Beth Kitchens; bonus children, Laurie Glass, Bob Bushway (Anita), Mike Bushway (Renee) and Tom Bushway; sister, Josephine Irwin; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Paul Bushway; grandson, Dylan Boggs; daughter in law, Mitzy Bushway.
A graveside service for Mrs. Bushway will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, July 26th, at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
