Wanda Mae White Dickson, age 84 of Cave City, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 26, 2023 at Shanti Niketan Hospice Home surrounded by her family. The Green County native was born on October 5, 1938 to the late Rommie “Pete” and Roxie Leontine Neagle White. She was married to for sixty-five years to James E. Dickson, who survives.
Wanda was a member of Basil Chapel United Baptist Church in Cave City. She was previously employed by Firestone Textiles Company in Bowling Green for many years and also Carhartt Manufacturing in Glasgow until March of 2012.
Besides her husband she leaves to honor her memory— son, Mike Dickson (Brenda) of Bowling Green; grandson, Craig Dickson of Boston, MA; one brother, Don White (Elma) of Louisville; one sister, Fay Wright (J.W.) of Greensburg and a host of other relatives and friends.
Interment will be in Cave City Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to Basil Chapel Baptist Church Building Fund or Shanti Niketan Hospice House of Glasgow.
