Sandra A. Hayes, 74, of Brownsville passed away Saturday June 24, 2023 at her home.
The Edmonson County native was a 30 year employee of AT&T as a long distance operator and she was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Lousiville.
She was a daughter of the late James Otis Hayes and Marie Agnes Lashley Hayes. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Pete Hayes and Kenneth Hayes; a sister, Dean “Willy” Hayes; and three beloved dogs Jacques, Prissy, and Princess.
Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 AM Thursday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on with burial to follow in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will take place 5-8 PM Wednesday at Gravil Funeral Home.
Surviving are two sisters; Mary Lee Hayes of Louisville, and Peggy Marie Hayes of Sunfish. A brother; Kevin Dale Hayes of Leitchfield; several nieces and nephews. She also fed all the squirrels in the neighborhood.
