Shirley Ann Skaggs, 74, of Lindseyville passed away Tuesday May 9, 2023 at her residence.
The Edmonson County native was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She was a daughter of the late Virgil Tipton and Nancy York Tipton and the wife of the late Larry T. Skaggs.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Mary Elizabeth Skaggs and Sharon Merryman; a brother, Michael Tipton; and two sisters, Theresa Simmons and Delores Boyd.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to follow in Midway Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM Saturday.
Surviving are her husband, Phillip Vincent; three sons, Dewayne Skaggs (Karen) and Eric Skaggs both of Bowling Green and Robert Skaggs of Lindseyville; seven grandchildren, Hayden Merryman, Adron Merryman (Cierra), Chris Merryman (Samantha), Samantha Tinsley (Tyler); Elijah Merryman, Brooklyn Skaggs, Brayden Skaggs and Bryson Skaggs; six great grandchildren, Brent Thomas Merryman, Waylon Merryman, Willy Merryman, Maddie Merryman, Jamison Merryman and David Grey; and several nieces and nephews.
