Wendell Garland Sherrard, 69, of Smiths Grove passed away March 20, 2023 at his residence.
The Hardin County native was a heavy equipment operator and truck driver. He was a son of the late Richard Sherrard and Ruby Ray Sherrard. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Sherrard.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to follow in Red Hill Cemetery. Visitation will take place 3-7 PM Thursday and after 9:00 AM Friday.
Surviving are two daughters, Heather Vincent (Gary) of Sweeden and Ann Sherrard of Mammoth Cave; two brothers, Darrell Sherrard and Richard Sherrard Jr.; two sisters, Darlene Thomas and Sheila Sherrard; three grandsons, Jared Sherrard, Dustin newton and Kenny Vincent (Ashley); eight great grandchildren, Alana Vincent, Karter Vincent, Clayton Vincent, Colton Vincent, Parker Sherrard, Sophia Sherrard, Liam Newton and Addison Newton.
