Mildred Virginia Parsley, age 99, of Park City, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Signature Healthcare of Hart County. The Jefferson County native was born on October 8, 1923 to the late Robert Ralph Nalley and Molly Holthauser Nalley-Goins. She was married to the late Nilard V. Parsley, Sr..

Mildred Virginia was a former educator for thirty-four years at Park City Schools. She had been a member of Park City Baptist Church since 1951. During that time,  she served as a Sunday school teacher, head of kitchen and assistant treasurer. She was also a member of the Rocky Hill and Louisville Eastern Star, as well as  Park City Homemakers, where she served as past president.

She leaves to honor her memory— her daughter-in-law, Judy Parsley of Park City; granddaughter, Gina Hurt (Keith) of Park City; three great-grandchildren, Miranda Bonifay (Cody), Tristan Hurt and Jared Hurt of Park City; two step great-grandchildren, Riley and Rhayna Hurt; two great-great grandchildren, Madelyn Bonifay and Silas Bonifay; niece, Connie Coyne (Pete) and nephew, Roger Russell (Sharon). She was also preceded in death by her sons, Jimmy and Von Parsley; her sisters, Jean Nalley Adcock and Vivian Beatrice Nalley; Jimmy Goins, who was her father after Robert passed away.

Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
