Janie Hines Francis, 75 of Louisville passed away Sunday, February 5,2023 at the Kindred Hospital in Louisville. Born May 5,1947 in Edmonton to the late Lloyd Hines and Amanda “Nell” Hines. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her brother Carl Hines and sister in law Elsie Hines.
Janie was a member of Lone Star Missionary Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and friend. Janie took pride in her flower gardens and decorating for all holidays especially Christmas.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years Cleveland Francis of Louisville. Son Alan Francis of Edmonton and daughter Mandy (Jeff) Wood of Louisville.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, February 10th at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Lone Star Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 PM Thursday and after 9:00 AM Friday until time of service. Butler Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to be entrusted to the care of Mrs. Francis.
