Ruby Alyne Nunnally, 99, of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away Monday, January 23, 2022, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born October 3, 1923, in Slick Rock, Kentucky to the late John Willie Rose Veluzat and Elizabeth “Lizzie” Moss Veluzat. Ruby was a former purchasing agent at Bowling Green-Warren County Hospital and later worked for T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She also held jobs at Jolly’s Men Store and George J. Ellis Drugs. Ruby loved tending her flower and vegetable gardens, sewing, and was a member of South Green Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include her stepson, Wallace Nunnally (Dixie); one step grandson, Michael Nunnally (Trisha); two step great grandchildren, Raelyn and Owen Nunnally; seven nieces, Marcus Kingery, Sheroline Byrd, Jackie Tracy (Phillip), Doris Furlong, Johanna Compton (Gary); Jolene Rush (Butch), Tula Taylor; two nephews, Lennis Williams (Sharon), Larry Shive (Sherry); and one sister-in-law, Joy Shive.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Frances Veluzat, Mary Alice Williams, Pauline Polson, and Martha Faulkner.
The funeral service for Mrs. Nunnally will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, January 26th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday afternoon from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Thursday morning until time for the service at the funeral home. A. F.
