Melinda Catherine Horton age 66 formerly of Cave City passed away Thursday night at Baptist Health in Louisville. She was the daughter of the late William & Lura Kessler King. Melinda was a former employee with Louisville Bedding in Munfordville and she was a member of the Horse Cave Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband James.
She is survived by her daughters-Tiffany Matthew & her husband Fred and Erica Greenwell and her husband Derrick; grandchildren-Zachary Matthews, Brayden Matthews, Sierra Matthews, Audrey Greenwell & Bryce Greenwell; a great-granddaughter Elizabeth Matthews; two sisters Doris Loyal and Ann Hopper.
The funeral service for Melinda Catherine Horton will be 2pm Sunday, November 27th in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Hatcher officiating. Burial will be in the Cave City Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10am Sunday at the Sego Funeral Home. The family request that memorial donation be given to Palliative Care at Baptist Health, these donations may be left at the funeral home.
