Mark Copas, 55, of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away Tuesday, October 25th, at Macon County Community Hospital in Lafayette, TN.
Mark was born in Monroe County, KY on November 29, 1966, a son of the late Jo Francis (Bushong) and Marlin Copas.
On July 3, 1993, he married Jackie Chapman at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.
He was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. He was the owner of Copas Construction and spent a lot of time farming and in the hayfield.
Mark is survived by his wife, Jackie Copas; a daughter, Erica Cleary, and husband, Joe Harlan and one grandson, Callum H. Cleary, all of Tompkinsville, KY.
Mark is also survived by two sisters, Sharon Williams and Karon Copas; and nine brothers, Jackie, Kenny, Jerry, Gary, Gregory, Terry, Eddie, Tony and Kelly Copas, all of Tompkinsville, KY.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Sheila Kaye Copas.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 28th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY, with burial to follow at White Cemetery.
Visitation is Thursday, 5-8 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mark’s memory may be made to Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.
