Nellie L. VanMeter Hogan, 88, of Brownsville passed away Wednesday Oct. 19, 2022 at Edmonson Center.
The Edmonson County native was a seamstress.
She was a daughter of the late Curtis Sheldon VanMeter and Sadie Cook VanMeter and the wife of the late Delano Hogan.
She was preceded in death by eight brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday at Brownsville General Baptist Church, where she was a member, with burial to follow in Brownsville Cemetery. Visitation will take place 4-7 PM Thursday and after 10:00 AM Friday at the church. Gravil Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Surviving are a daughter, Lisa Hogan of Brownsville; a brother, Nathan “Junior” VanMeter (Pattie) of Brownsville; and several nieces and nephews.
