Kay Whitney Johnson, 65, of Scottsville, KY passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022. The Scottsville, KY native was a homemaker and co-owner and operator of Johnson’s Antiques. She was a daughter of the late Loren Edgar Whitney and Ruby Lee Martin Whitney.
She is survived by her husband: Eddie Johnson, Scottsville, KY;
3 sons: Barry Hesse (Melinda); Jerry Hesse (Crystal) and Judson Johnson (Lisa), all of Bethpage, TN;
1 daughter: Tabatha Johnson (Cory), Scottsville, KY;
2 brothers: Kenneth Whitney (Sandra) and Jerry Whitney (India), all of Scottsville, KY;
2 sisters: Wanda Meador (Johnny) and Kathy Gillock, all of Scottsville, KY;
10 grandchildren: Lucan Nealy, Andrea Nealy, Coy Nealy, Logan Graves, Deacon Hesse, Ryle Hesse, Lauren Hesse, Brysen Hesse, Peyton Hesse and Haley Hesse;
1 great great granddaughter and
Several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son: Greg Nealy; 2 brothers: Larry Whitney and Pete Whitney; 3 sisters: Lena Henson, Barbara Whitney and Lisa Whitney.
Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Kenny Whitney, Bro. Jerry Whitney and Bro. Teddy Johnson officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Saturday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
