Barbara Ellen Clarkson, 59, of Tompkinsville, KY went home to be the Lord on Monday, September 12th, 2022.
Barbara was born in Tompkinsville, KY on January 24, 1963, a daughter of Richard Clarkson, of Tompkinsville, KY, and the late Bobbie (Vinson) Clarkson.
Barbara was a member of the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist. She was a Tompkinsville High School graduate of the class of 1981. She enjoyed watching UK Basketball and spending time with her family and friends playing cards.
She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth (Jamie) Wood and Kayla Trivett, of Glasgow, KY; grandchildren, TJ (Abbie) and Alex (Shelby) Wood, great granddaughter, Opal Avery Wood.
Barbara is also survived by two sisters, Vickie (Jackie) Wilborn and Shellay (Dwayne) Frazier; Sister-in-law, Gaye Clarkson, all of Tompkinsville, KY; nieces, Christy Wilborn, Sybil Clarkson, nephews, Tyler and Josh Frazier and Jeromy Clarkson; along with great nieces; a special family, Brian, Brittany, Briley and Shylee Pennington.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Bobby Vinson Clarkson, her son, Little Tim Trivett, her brother, Ricky Clarkson, and her grandparents.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 15th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Bethlehem Cemetery. Bro. Gary Emberton will officiate the service.
Visitation is Wednesday 3:00-8:00 p.m., and Thursday, 8:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
