Jody Lee Wilson, 73 of Bowling Green passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, August 5, 2022 at the Hospice House.
Jody was born in Tazewell, Virginia on August 9, 1948 to the late Leon Wilson and Dorothy Lambert Wilson. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry and Jimmy Wilson. He was a member of Oakland Baptist Church. Jody loved to hunt and fish with his grandchildren and watch them play ball. He was a hard- working farmer that took great pride in his tobacco crops. He loved helping others in need.
He was a loving husband of 55 years to Nancy Wilson; loved his sons, Erick Wilson (Michelle) and Patrick Wilson (Melanie); was a devoted grandfather to Erica Vincent (Dex), Chaz Wilson and Bentley Wilson; and his great granddaughter, Aria Vincent.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial in Smiths Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m.- 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
