Hascal Morris Dodson, 81, passed away at Cumberland Valley Manor in Burkesville, Kentucky, on Monday, June 13, 2022.
He was born on June 16, 1940, to the late Frank and Clara (Sharp) Dodson.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Linda (Curtis) Dodson, two children and their spouses, Chris and Kim (Dodson) Walden and Jason and Amy Dodson, and one grandson, Will Dodson.
Morris lived in the Turkey Neck Bend community of Monroe County his entire life. In addition to farming, he worked for 34 years as an operator of the ferry at McMillian’s Landing. He was a member of the Kettle Creek Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters: Minnie Nagle, Ruby Crawford, Bonzie Boyles, and two brothers; Reed Dodson, and Leonard “Buster” Dodson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at Bartley and Sons Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with Jason Dodson officiating. Visitation begins on Tuesday, June 14 at 4 p.m. Burial will be in the Jones Cemetery.
