Susie Rucker, age 73 of Munfordville, KY, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022 at her home. She was a member of Rowletts Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and above all, a selfless person.
She was the daughter of the late Houston Johnson and the late Della Powell Evans.
She is preceded in death by her husband, David Rucker and her brother, Douglas Johnson.
She is survived by one son, Gene Carmon and his wife, Lori, Munfordville, KY; four grandchildren, Hunter Borges of Munfordville, KY and Kylee Borges of Munfordville, KY,
Felicia Harris of Rowletts, KY and Katherine Harris of Munfordville, KY; one great-granddaughter, Marleigh; two sisters, Marsha Cook and her husband Tommy of Horse Cave, KY and Mary Ann Steele of Munfordville, KY; several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. CT on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. CT on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Dewayne Cook and Bro. Scott Coats officiating. The service will be streamed live on Brooks Funeral Home Facebook page. Cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Rowletts Baptist Church or the Munfordville Cemetery Fund.
