Edna Quist Porter, age 81, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022. She was a native of Ogden, Utah and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she taught Sunday school and worked in the Relief Society. She served a mission for two years in Peru for her church. She worked for forty years as a nurse and loved to sing. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Reuben Porter; her parents, Charles Ivan Quist and Cleo Cornia Quist; her brother, Ivan Quist.
She is survived by her children, Tim Porter (Lori), Mike Porter (Kristen), Andy Porter, Steve Porter (Bonnie), Ellen Hardee (Preston), Susan Haroldsen (Brent), and Heather Porter; seventeen grandchildren; one brother, Larry Quist; one sister, Luann Slater.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Park City. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until time of service on Saturday.
