Chloie Mae Ray Pierce, 88, of Chalybeate passed away at 6:00 PM Wednesday Jan. 11, 2022 at Greenwood Nursing and Rehab in Bowling Green.
The Edmonson County native was the owner/operator of Chloie’s Beauty Shop and was a member of Chalybeate United Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Samuel Ray and Lois Wells Ray and the wife of the late Grover Pierce. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Poteet; a half brother, Clifford Ray; and a half sister, Mary Denham.
Surviving are a grandson, Jarred Poteet (Corey Priddy) of Chalybeate; a granddaughter, Jessica Poteet (Cody Morris) of Chalybeate; and two great grandchildren, Kanyon Poteet and Landon Morris.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to follow in Kinser Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM Saturday.
