Roger Dale Turner, 72, of Gamaliel, KY passed away Tuesday, January 11th, at Medical Center at Bowling Green.
Roger was born in Monroe County, KY on December 19, 1949, a son of the late Maudie Ann (Rich) Turner and Sammie E. Turner .
He worked at Stitches Sewing Factory and then at D.T. McCalls.
Roger is survived by his wife, Brenda (Blair) Turner, of Gamaliel, KY; two sons, Shawn Turner, and wife, Vanessa, of Lafayette, TN and Dustin Turner, of California; a step daughter, LaDonna Hall, of Fountain Run, KY; two step sons, Jeremy Hall, of Fountain Run, KY and Casey Hall, and wife, Tayler, of Fountain Run, KY; 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Roger is also survived by two sisters, Darlene Wheat, of Tompkinsville, KY and Mary Turner, of Gamaliel, KY.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his five brothers, Jimmie D., Roy, William Rex, Eugene, and Addis Turner; and three sisters, Dean Turner, Elizabeth Burnett, Margaret Veach, and Ceba Lee Turner.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 14th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY, with burial to follow at Isenberg Cemetery.
Visitation is Thursday, 5-8 PM and Friday, after 8:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
