Jodie Madeline Lingo, 79, of Glasgow, passed away Sunday, January 2, 2022, at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born in Albany, KY on May 13, 1942, to the late E.J. Riddle and Ella Mae Burchett Riddle.

Jodie was very much a people person, as shown in her career as a personnel manager for various businesses to include EP Graphic Corporation, where she worked for many years. She never settled for just O.K. and held certificates from cosmetology school, medical terminology, plus many other schools and classes to better know and understand people and do her job to the best of her ability. She was a very caring and giving person and would give away her last dollar and never take credit for any of her charity. She loved her family and the Lord. She attended the River Lake Church.

Survivors include her husband, Allen Lingo of Glasgow; son, Bradley Lewis (Wendy); daughter, Melissa Hunt (Chad) of Alvaton; former daughter in law, Jessica Lewis; grandchildren, Weldon Huston (Jennifer), Joella Huston (Amanda), Josh Hunt (Amy), Ayla Burris (Jacob), Briannah Lewis (Cole), Liam Lewis, Adaline Bell, Elijah Bell, Kaylen Anderson, Jace Anderson, and Hadleigh Houchens; great grandchildren, Abby Asberry, Jax Huston, Jacob Hunt, Ali Hunt, Khloe Hunt, Lilla Burris, Bowen Burris, and Loften Huston; sisters, Margie Lowhorn, Phyllis Ferguson (Tommy), and Sally Taylor (Don).

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Wesley Riddle, and JT Riddle.

Funeral service will be held 1:00pm Saturday, January 8th at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00pm – 8:00pm and on Saturday until time for the service at the funeral home. A.F. Crow is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Lingo.
