Metcalfe grand jury returns several indictments

GLASGOW, Ky. — A Metcalfe County grand jury convened April 22 and returned several indictments. An indictment is an accusation only. Innocence or guilt can only be proven in a court of law.

MonaLisa M. Pecina, 36, of Edmonton, was indicted with three counts of first degree criminal abuse (child 12 or under, continuing course of conduct).

Craig A. Jennings, 34, of Edmonton, was indicted with three counts of first degree criminal abuse (child 12 or under, continuing course of conduct).

Joshua M. Jessie, 31, of Edmonton, was indicted with first degree burglary; first degree wanton endangerment; fourth degree assault (domestic violence, no visible injury); second degree criminal mischief; third degree terroristic threatening; and violation of Kentucky EPO/DVO.

Deandre Barlow, 32, of Edmonton, was indicted with first degree strangulation; fourth degree assault (domestic violence, minor injury); and first degree persistent felony offender.

Joseph P. Lane, 41, of Glasgow, was indicted with fleeing or evading police (motor vehicle), first degree wanton endangerment and fleeing or second degree evading police (on foot).

Todd B. Shive, 39, of Knob Lick, was indicted with fleeing or evading police (motor vehicle), resisting arrest, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and any other substance (first offense), speeding 26 mph or more over limit, reckless driving, improperly on left side of road and failure to or improper signal.

Sherry J. Page, 36, of Summer Shade, was indicted with first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine, first offense), buying or possessing drug paraphernalia, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and any other substance (second offense), failure of owner to maintain required insurance (first offense) and careless driving.

Justin A. Harper, 30, of Edmonton, was indicted with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of any other substance or combination of substances (fourth offense, aggravator); operating a motor vehicle while license revoked or suspended for driving undet the influence (second offense); and third degree criminal mischief.

Fred G. Carey, 56, of Edmonton, was indicted with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon; trafficking in marijuana (less than eight ounces, first offense); and buying or possessing drug paraphernalia.

Lawrence A. Patton Jr., 34, of Summer Shade, was indicted with first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine, first offense); endangering the welfare of a minor; buying or possessing drug paraphernalia; and possession of marijuana.

River M. Pomeroy, 40, of Edmonton, was indicted with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; and second degree persistent felony offender.

Jason W. Hendrick, 42, of Edmonton, was indicted with first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine, first offense); endangering the welfare of a minor; and buying or possessing drug paraphernalia.

Michael S. Wisecup, 23, of Edmonton, was indicted with fourth degree assault (domestic violence, third or more offense within five years).

Robert D. Cook, 49, of Twin Lake, Michigan, was indicted with first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine, first offense); and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance which impairs one’s driving ability, first offense).
