Naomi Maynard Blankenship age 87 of Scottsville died Sunday, June 19, 2011 at the Glasgow Health and Rehab. She was a homemaker, former employee of Washington Overall Manufacturing, Allen County War Memorial Hospital, and Medical Center at Scottsville and a member of the New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. 

She is survived by a son, Randy Maynard of Scottsville; two daughters Elaine Meador and husband Sonny and Nioka Isenburg and husband Kenny all of Scottsville; six grandchildren Kim Isenburg, Tim Meador, Angela McIntyre, James Maynard, Jennifer Turner and Ryan Maynard.  Eight great-grandchildren also surviving. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Alexander Carver and Betty Jane Harrison Carver; her husbands, James Wesley Carver and Henderson Lois Blankenship; a son Darrell Wayne Maynard; three brothers Virgil Carver, J. E. Carver and Alton Carver; two sisters Ethel Hogue and Alma Carver Harrison.

Funeral services for Naomi Maynard Blankenship will be held at 11am Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at the Goad Funeral Home with burial in the New Bethel Cemetery
