ARREST MADE IN THEFT THIS WEEK PDF Print

Earlier this week information was received by the Barren County Sheriff’s Office that led Deputy Steve Runyon to a person of interest in a reported theft. The missing item, a 6 x 10 foot utility trailer, was reported missing in early March from the Railton community.

The victim of the stolen trailer contacted the Sheriff’s Office after she noticed what look to be her missing trailer in a local business parking lot. After responding to the location on West Main Street, deputies confirmed the trailer was stolen and confronted the person who was in possession of it. Further investigation led Deputy Runyon to a subject identified as Jesse S. Williams, 36 of Glasgow. He was arrested and lodged in the Barren County Correctional Center, charged with receiving stolen property under $10,000 a class D Felony.
