EDMONTON WOMAN JAILED AFTER AN ACTIVE METH LAB WAS FOUND ON HER PROPERTY PDF Print

Deputies from the Metcalfe County Sheriff’s Office went to the home of 35 year old Janice D. Fields on Friday in an attempt to serve a criminal summons pertaining to possession and trafficking of a controlled substance and found an active meth lab.

A search warrant was obtained and deputies found several items pertaining to manufacturing methamphetamine along with an active shake and bake lab.

Fields was arrested by Deputy Allen Huffman and charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, 1st offense; Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st degree, 1st offense; Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine Precursor, 1st Offense and Possession of Marijuana.

Fields was lodged in the Barren County Correctional Center.  The investigation is ongoing with other arrest pending.
