Last night around 11pm, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of an overturned vehicle of Glasgow Road with possible injuries.

When deputies arrived on the scene, it was soon determined that alcohol was a factor, leaving the operator with possible injuries.

After further investigation into the incident, deputies discovered that just prior to the accident, there was a physical altercation between the driver, 34-year-old Christy Peach of Smiths Grove, and passenger, 26-year-old Timothy Wood also of Smiths Grove.

This altercation resulted in wanton endangerment charges for Wood. Peach was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

Both subjects were transported to the Medical Center where they were treated and released just prior to being lodged in the Barren County Jail.
