Cora Marie Ogden, 90 of Bowling Green died at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 29, 2011 at her residence. The Sequoyah County, OK native was the daughter of the late Henry Wade Hamilton Woods and Junie Ellen Denny Woods. She was the wife of the late Leon E. Ogden and was preceded in death by a grand daughter, Kimberly Ann Floyd. She was a homemaker and she worked building airplanes during WWII at Tinker AFB in Midwest City, Ok. In her lifetime she has worked as a waitress, bank teller, managed a motel and owned a small cafe. She was an avid quilter giving most of her works of art to family members.
Survivors include her son, Charles H. Floyd and his wife Beverly of Bowling Green; five grandchildren, Jane Duncan and her husband Murray of Brighton, Michigan; Vicki Anglin of Michigan; Tiffany Stickley and her husband Jim of Vicksburg, MI; Tamara Wurst and her husband Raymond “Fred Jr” of Bowling Green and Trevor Floyd and his wife Maria of Ft. Gratiot, Michigan; two step granddaughters, Lydia Kerr and her husband, James and Evelyn Shanks of Bowling Green; eleven great grandchildren; four great step grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. Her nearest and dearest friend Athy Plagens of Wayne, Michigan
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial in The Ogden Family Cemetery in Huntsville, ARK. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m Wednesday, at the funeral home.
