December 2, 1990 – The Kentucky Headhunters were the Grand Marshall for the Glasgow Christmas Parade.

December 2, 1990 – New Farmers Bank promotes four employees – Charlotte Fields, Debbie Livingston, Gary Norman and Jennie Wilson.

December 4, 1990 – Members of the 623rd Field Artillery headquartered in Glasgow, have been placed on alert for deployment in the Middle East. (They left Glasgow on December 10, 1990to report to Ft. Campbell)

December 6, 1990 – Wilma Lutterman, Purchasing Department Manager at T J Samson Community Hospital was honored for 35 years of service.

December 9, 1990 – Rita Staley, a native of Indiana, is the new Barren County Extension Agent for Home Economics.

December 13, 1990 – The Immanuel Baptist Kids Choir will present the musical “Angels Aware”. The choir is made up of 55 voices from grades 1-6.

December 16, 1990 – Evelyn Hagan joins Longhunters Realty as a sales associate.

December 20, 1990 – 32 local existing and emerging leaders make up the 1991 Leadership class of Glasgow Barren County.

December 23, 1990 – Citizens Bank and Trust will become known as Trans Financial Bank.

December 30, 1990 – The hotel chain known as Hampton Inn is reportedly considering Glasgow as a possible site for future development.
