Painting Just for Kids – Level I – Mondays, February 2 - 23, 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church. Want to learn to paint?  We have just the thing for you! Beginning painting class teaches you the basics of acrylic painting from mixing your first colors, through your first completed canvas. It’s fun. It’s an adventure into a new world of art. Come join us! Class is for ages 6 -12.  Patty Hughes, instructor. Cost: $30

Acrylic Painting – Mondays, February 2 - March 9, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church. Expand your world of acrylic painting. Venture outside your “box” and experience new excitement through your own paintbrush. Or start from the beginning and broaden your range of color and beauty. Class is for ages 13 and above. Patty Hughes, Instructor. Supply list provided upon registration. Cost: $35

Fundamentals of Photography– Mondays, February 9, 16 and 23, 6:00 – 8:00 pm to be held at the Trojan Academy.

Make your pictures look as good as your neighbor or friend’s pictures using your compact, digital zoom, or SLR camera.  We will discuss the basic components of a camera, fundamentals of composition, lighting, flash, printing and more.  Prerequisites include familiarity with the basic components of your camera and a strong desire to make better pictures. Beginning Computers  – Mondays and Wednesdays, January 5 - 14, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Location to be announced. This class will introduce the participant to the beginning computer skills:  Basic computer and mouse skills, opening programs, finding, organizing, copying, moving and deleting files.  It will also include basic usage of Microsoft Word, the Internet and email.  This class is recommended for those who have never used a computer or are just beginning.   Debbie Russell, Instructor Cost: $30

i-Phone basics – Tuesday and Thursday, February 3 and February 5, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Glasgow High School. Need to learn the very basics of using your i-Phone? Like how to add contacts, how to use the camera and change orientations? All this and tons more will be covered in i-Phone Basics! Jamie Houchen, instructor. Cost $20

i-Pad basics – Tuesday and Thursday, January 20 and 22, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Glasgow High School.  Join Jamie as she teaches you how to take full advantage of your i-Pad! Learn the short cuts that will help you save time and learn to navigate through the best apps.  Take the functionality of your i- Pad to a whole new level.  Jamie Houchen, instructor. Cost $20



Pie Making – Saturday, February 7, 9:00 a.m. – noon. Location to be announced. Have you ever wanted to learn how to make mile – high meringue lathered on a delicious cream filling? If so, then come to pie making basics. Learn simple techniques to create beautiful pies that will please your taste buds and honor any table. You will learn to prepare and flute homemade flaky pie crust, make delicious cream fillings and whip up a successful meringue. There will be many pie making tips to share and the best part of all –pie for everyone! Linda Berry, Instructor Cost: $20


Finding Money for College  – January 15, 12:00 -6:00 p.m. at Western Kentucky University – Glasgow Campus. Individual help with online completion of your FASFA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) for fall 2015 semester.  Parents are encouraged to attend with their student.
