John William Conley 82 of Bowling Green died Sunday, February 28, 2010 at his residence.  He was a retired employee of Holley Carburetor, member of the Jackson Grove Baptist Church, member of the American Legion and a World War II Army Veteran. 

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Rich Conley; two daughters, Linda Blanchard and husband Larry and Teresa Conley all of Bowling Green; two sons, Johnny Conley and wife Brenda of Brownsville and Gaylon Conley and wife Sue of Rockfield and a sister Eloise Stewart. Seven grandchildren, Joni Boyden and husband John, Matthew Montgomery, Brian Montgomery, Chad Montgomery, Kristen Miller husband Justin, Amy Thomas and Katie Conley and five great-grandchildren Abby Boyden, Hailey Boyden, Kaysten Thomas, Keagan Thomas, Breanna Payne and soon to be Gracie Miller also surviving.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil Conley and Maud Barnett Conley and two sisters, Helen Tate and Dorothy Felts. 

Funeral services for John William Conley will be held at 11am Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at the Hardy and Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial in the Bowling Green Gardens with Military Honors. Visitation after 12noon Tuesday.
