James "Jimmy" Eggleton, 69 of Bowling Green died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014 at his residence.

The Waterbury, Conn. native was a son of the late Robert and Alice Carey Eggleton. He was a bar owner that specialized in quality control and he served his country in the U.S. Navy. James was a father, mentor, and friend, he left a positive impact on any and all he came into contact with. He raised three families and worked hard for them all until the end. As his wife, I was lucky to have loved him and him to love me. He was the calm in my storm and I will miss him beyond my broken heart. I will love you forever Jimmy, my husband, best friend and soul mate, love forever Hayley your honey bunny. As his daughter he always believed in me, motivated me, and was the best father and grandfather I could ever hope for. I know he is in Heaven saying "Make a hole make it wide, Love Danielle.

His survivors include his wife, Dawn Eggleton; four daughters, Danielle Rogers, Dina Eggleton, Carey Swain and Tera Eggleton, a son, Mikey; four grandchildren; several brothers and sisters and his furry children, Bubba, Mikey, Billy Bob & PeeWee.

A memorial service will be held at a later date, arrangements by Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel.
