Warren County

· KY 185- The Ky. 185 bridge over Barren River just north of Garvin Lane (mile point 1.96) is restricted to one lane. Numerous traffic signs will be in place, but the biggest impact is the addition of a temporary traffic signal at the bridge. Traffic signals will be placed near the end of the bridge in both directions. Motorists need to obey normal traffic signal rules when approaching the signal. The restriction and signals will remain in place for an extended period of time while deck restoration and waterproofing is complete. Motorists need to slowdown and use caution while in this area.

· U.S. 31-W - Motorists will have one new additional impact to the roundabout project area at the intersection of U.S. 31-W, Loving Way and University Boulevard in Bowling Green.

Motorists traveling southbound on U.S. 31-W through the project area will have a minor shift beginning Friday, July 11. The shift will put motorists on part of the newly constructed roundabout project, while the center island is being constructed. The northbound traffic made a similar shift beginning last week.  The lane shift for the southbound direction will began after crews are able to get some paving complete. Motorists will need to slowdown when approaching this area.

The other impacts are still in place. Loving Way, Chestnut Street and University Boulevard (From Normal Street to U.S. 31-W) remain closed.

The detours are still in place. Motorists are encouraged to slowdown when entering the roundabout project area. Also, motorists need to be alert for the detour signs directing travelers where to turn. The detour could add travel time to destinations, so motorists need to plan accordingly.
