Terry R. "Tubby" Gravil, 80 of Bowling Green died Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the Medical Center.

The Warren County native was a son of the late Willie and Lettie Meredith Gravil. He was a retired employee of Holley Automotive and a farmer. He was of the Baptist faith, loved racing at Beech Bend and an avid fisherman.

His survivors are his wife of 49 years, Ava Johnson Gravil; a daughter, Tammy Alford (Sam), two sons, Terry A. Gravil (Angela )and Jason Gravil (Stacey); four grandchildren, T.J. Gravil, Richard Gravil, Bryan Gravil and Lana Christy Smotherman; two great grandsons, Charlie & Evan Gravil; a special nephew who was like a brother, Jerry Gravil along with several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation 1:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
